TP4056 is an integrated circuit (IC) designed to charge single-cell lithium-ion batteries.

- Adjustable via an external resistor (PROG)
- Charging voltage precision: ±1.5%

- Thermal protection: The system has built-in thermal protection that reduces the charging current if the temperature exceeds 145°C
- Battery detection: TP4056 automatically detects the presence of the battery and manages the charging process accordingly
- LEDs: Two LEDs to indicate charging status: CHRG (charging) and STDBY (fully charged or no charge)
- Reverse polarity protection: The circuit is protected against reverse battery connection
- Operating temperature: Range: -40°C to +85°C
