The W25Q32FV memory is a new 32M-bit (4M-byte) SpiFlash memory family. It offers various SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) communication modes, including standard SPI, Dual SPI (Dual SPI), Quad SPI (Quad SPI) and QPI (Quad Peripheral Interface) for flexibility and high performance. It supports both software and hardware reset.

  • QPI (Quad Peripheral Interface) mode reduces instruction overhead, allowing XIP (Execute In Place) operation.
  • The performance of this memory is superior to X16 parallel memory.

Low power consumption:

  • Supply voltage from 2.7V to 3.6V.
  • Operating current is 4 mA and less than 1 μA in sleep mode.
  • Operating temperature range: -40°C to +85°C, making the chip suitable for a wide range of applications.

Flexible architecture:

  • Memory divided into 4KB sectors and 32KB/64KB blocks.
  • Programmable from 1 to 256 bytes per programmable page.
  • Supports suspend and resume erase and programming operations.

Advanced security features:

  • Hardware and software write protection.
  • Power lock and OTP (One-Time Programmable) protection features.
  • Upper and lower memory sector protection and complementary sector layout.
  • Each device has a unique 64-bit identifier.
  • Supports the SFDP (Serial Flash Discoverable Parameters) parameter register.
  • It has three security registers of 256 bytes each with OTP locks.
