The price is for 1 set.

The module is used for smooth automatic change of the cooling fan speed.

New improved version 3.05. Circuit based on the TIP42C power transistor.

  • Supply voltage 12V DC (difference between input and output voltage 0.5V).
  • Max. operating current 1A
  • Protection against reverse connection
  • Dimensions 45x25x27mm (L/W/H)
  • Weight 21.4 g.

The module can operate in two modes: Fixed mode temperature and Adjustable mode. (switch F / A)

Example of operation in "Fixed mode temperature" :

  1. When the temperature is 30 ℃, the module turns on the fan.
  2. 30 to 50 ℃, the fan speed increases linearly.
  3. Above 50℃, the fan runs at full speed.

Example of "Adjustable mode" operation. :

  1. 35 to 70 ℃, the fan speed increases linearly.

The module has a potentiometer which is used to adjust the fan speed

The kit includes (what is pictured) :

  • Fan speed controller circuit
  • Temperature sensor, plugged into JST plug/socket, screwed on, length approx. 30cm

High Voltage and Current – This component can operate at high voltages and currents, posing a risk of electric shock. Pay attention to the maximum voltage and current values, as well as appropriate markings indicating these limits.

Caution During Installation – Ensure that the components are correctly mounted in the circuit, as improper connections can lead to overheating, damage, or fire.

Hot Components – Electronic components may heat up during operation, so it is important to follow the recommendations regarding the maximum operating temperature. Appropriate heat sinks or cooling systems should be used to ensure effective heat dissipation. Caution should also be exercised to avoid burns.

Swallowing Hazard – Small fastening components, such as screws, nuts, or washers, can pose a choking or swallowing hazard, especially for children. They should be stored in a place out of reach of children.

Spreading of Small Components – These components can pose a tripping or loss hazard during work. They should be stored in containers that prevent spillage.
