Digital thermostat W1209 + probe

  • Supply voltage: 12V.
  • Temperature control: from -50℃ to 110℃.
  • Display resolution: from -9.9℃ to 99.9℃ - 0.1℃, remaining range - 1℃.
  • Output load: max 1750W, 20A/14VDC, 7A/250VAC.
  • Display colour red.
  • Waterproof probe (4mm): NTC10k Ohm measurement, length approx. 50cm.
  • Control circuit "no name" has no effect on the operation of the module.
  • Dimensions: 41x49x18mm.
  • Weight with probe 19.2g.

Description of functions:

  • P0 - Mode selection: C - Cooling / H - Heating
  • P1 - Hysteresis range: Range: 0.1 - 15°C
  • P2 - Upper temperature detection limit: Range: -25°C to 110°C (Not used to set the relay switching temperature)
  • P3 - Lower temperature detection limit: Range -30°C to 105°C (Not used to set relay off temperature)
  • P4 - Thermometer calibration: Range: -7°C to 7°C (Useful during display errors and significant probe cable extension)
  • P5 - Relay switch-on delay time: Range: 0min to 10min
  • P6 - Over temperature alarm: Range: 0 - 110°C

Factory settings reset : Simultaneously hold down the + and - buttons when the module's supply voltage is switched on.

Operating instructions:

  • The thermostat can operate in Heating (H) or Cooling (C) mode.
  • Connecting the 12V DC power supply will switch on the module; the red display indicates the current probe temperature.
  • On first start-up, the thermostat is programmed to factory settings: relay on above 30℃, relay off below 28℃.
  • The module remembers the settings after a power failure.
  • An LED next to the screen indicates that the relay is switched on.

Programming:

  • Press the SET function button briefly - the screen with the set temperature will blink.
  • Use the + and - buttons to set the temperature for the relay status change.
  • After setting the temperature, wait about 10 seconds until the screen stops blinking - the temperature has been set and stored.
  • Hold down the SET button for 4-5 seconds to enter the P0...P6 function programming mode.
  • Use the + and - buttons to select the function (P0...P6), briefly press the SET button -> change the function parameter -> confirm changes by briefly pressing the SET button.
  • Change the next function as in the previous point.
  • When the function parameters have been changed, hold the SET button for 4 seconds (or do nothing for 10 seconds) to save the settings.

Examples of use:

Heating mode:

  • Set the heater switch-on temperature to 23℃.
  • Set the hysteresis to 5℃.
  • Save the settings.

Cooling mode:

  • Set the fridge switch-on temperature to 1℃.
  • Set the hysteresis to 5°C.
  • Save the settings.

CH pump:

  • Set the pump switch-on temperature to 40℃.
  • Set the hysteresis to 10°C.
  • Save the settings.

Alarm:

  • Set the alarm temperature to 80℃.
  • Set the hysteresis to 10°C.
  • Save the settings.

High Voltage and Current – This component can operate at high voltages and currents, posing a risk of electric shock. Pay attention to the maximum voltage and current values, as well as appropriate markings indicating these limits.

Caution During Installation – Ensure that the components are correctly mounted in the circuit, as improper connections can lead to overheating, damage, or fire.

Hot Components – Electronic components may heat up during operation, so it is important to follow the recommendations regarding the maximum operating temperature. Appropriate heat sinks or cooling systems should be used to ensure effective heat dissipation. Caution should also be exercised to avoid burns.

Swallowing Hazard – Small fastening components, such as screws, nuts, or washers, can pose a choking or swallowing hazard, especially for children. They should be stored in a place out of reach of children.

Spreading of Small Components – These components can pose a tripping or loss hazard during work. They should be stored in containers that prevent spillage.
