EACH TRANSISTOR IS TESTED AND MATCHED BY US TO THE NEAREST HFE PARAMETER. TRANSISTORS THAT DEVIATE SIGNIFICANTLY FROM HFE AWAIT THE NEXT DELIVERY AND ARE RE-MATCHED. (The hfe of a pair does not differ by more than 30 β).
The average capacitance of the base-emitter junction for the transistors offered is:
- 2SA1943 is 4.5nF
- 2SA5200 is 4.8nF
The HFE of the transistors sold is between 50 - 130.

Why such a price ?
- We always buy a large batch from a verified supplier in China.
- Each transistor is tested for its parameters with the result that approximately 2% of the total batch is electronically faulty.
- Any transistor which is mechanically damaged, i.e. crushed, broken, too short, is not accepted for sale. This represents approximately 10% of the batch.
- Transistors are paired against close HFE parameters approx. 30% remain unpaired (usually a very high HFE which will also be impossible to pair in the next batch).
The result of the whole procedure is that about 1/3 of the saleable products remain from the entire delivery.
Why a used and not a new 2SA1943 + 2SC5200 pair ?
- There is virtually no NEW ORIGINAL Pair on the market 2SA1943 + 2SC5200 TOSHIBA JAPAN.
- At the moment it is very difficult to distinguish an original from a fake by its appearance.
- A good counterfeit is about 30% of the capacity of the original, while there are a great many "paint jobs" that have nothing to do with the original transistor.
