Each socket includes components : knob, sleeve and isolating washer, nut, body
Dimensions :
- Diameter of the "knob" end of the cable fixing fi 15.7mm , width 12mm, internal thread fi 9mm
- Total width of the socket tip outside 17.4mm (this is how much it sticks out)
- Diameter of screw-on loudspeaker cable max. 5mm, i.e. cable cross-section area as much as 19.64 mm² !!! (this is the diameter of the hole for the cable)
- Hole diameter of the banana plug 4mm
- Insulation-free housing mounting thread diameter fi 7.8mm, thread length 23mm
- Diameter of insulating sleeve - external dimension fi 9.7mm (recommended mounting hole in housing fi 10mm)
- Width of sleeve in housing max. 5mm (this should be the maximum thickness of the enclosure wall in which the socket is mounted - but it will also work in thicker enclosures)
- Diameter of soldered signal cable 4mm (with thicker signal cables there should also be no problem)
- The continuous current that the socket can carry is about 35A (calculated from the thickness of the material). With a typical amplifier output voltage of approx. 40V this gives a continuous power of approx. 1400W and a peak current of approx. 150A approx. 6000W !
