B1212S-1W galvanically isolated DC-DC 12V anti-interference inverter

The B1212S-1W converter is part of a series of DC-DC isolated converters with a fixed input voltage and a non-stabilised output.

Input:

• Nominal voltage: 12 VDC (range: 10.8-13.2 VDC).

Input current:

• At full load: 105 mA.
• No load: 8 mA.
• Input filter: capacitor filter.

Output:

• Nominal voltage: 12 VDC.
• Maximum output current: 83 mA.
• Maximum capacitive load: 560 µF.
• Efficiency: 76-80% (depending on load).
• Ripple & noise (20 MHz): 30-75 mVp-p.

Isolation:

• Isolation voltage: 1.5 kVDC (tested for 1 minute).
• Insulation resistance: ≥1000 MΩ at 500 VDC.

Operating conditions:

• Ambient temperature: -40°C to +105°C (with derating from 85°C).
• Cooling: natural convection.

Capacitors recommended for applications
The following capacitors are recommended to reduce input and output ripple and noise:

• Input (Cin): 2.2 µF / 25 V.
• Output (Cout): 2.2 µF / 16 V.

Additional EMC capacitors for emission suppression:

• C1/C2: 4.7 µF / 25 V.
• CY: 270 pF / 2 kV.
