XFX RX 570 fan replacement instructions and thermal paste change
Prepare :
1. Small Phillips screwdriver
2. new heat conducting paste
Cleaner and cleaner to remove the old paste
Repair time approx. 30-45 minutes
Unscrew the heatsink from the graphics card and gently peel the heatsink away from the GPU - screws 1 to 6.
2. disconnect the fan power connector from the graphics card board
3. unscrew the heatsink from the plastic case - screws 7 to 12
4. loosen the cable retaining screw 14 and disconnect the connector 15
Unscrew the screws securing the fans (you need to turn the blades accordingly) - screws 16 to 20. 6.
6 Mount the new fans
Clean the old paste from the heatsink and the GPU and apply new paste according to the manufacturer's instructions. 8.
8. screw according to the order of screwing and connecting.
